Category:Licensing
Introduction
Licensing is giving permission for someone to use something. This category of the P2P Foundation Wiki covers a number of different aspects of licensing including reviews of licenses and licensing groups that serve creators throughout the world. P2P Licensing covers some of the ways the P2P Theory can inform the conversation around licensing. Any P2P Network can use P2P Protocol to choose a licensing scheme that aids the will of that network. In many cases, though, a desire for Interoperability for P2P Networks can lead a P2P Network to choose a licensing scheme that allows other networks and the public to access the network's Common Resources.
