"International annual conference cycle, the European Open Source & Free Software Law Event (EOLE) aims to promote the share and dissemination of legal knowledge related to free software, as well as the development and promotion of good practices. Initiative born in 2008 from practitioners' needs, EOLE has for purpose to develop a legal doctrine dedicated to the dissemination of neutral and qualitative information.

"This year, the one-day conference will take place in Marseille on October 16th.

2019 Thematic : « Legal challenges of digital commons »

Necessity for some, alternative for others, digital commons are becoming the new collective goal in a society someway too technological and not enough human oriented. This increasing phenomenon is transforming the way of working of traditional actors from numerous sectors: health, mobility, spatial, Legal, etc.

For this 12th edition, EOLE will be hosted by the event Numérique en Commun[s] for a one-day event mixing conferences and workshops, with people from both digital commons and Open Source projects in order to share thoughts, experiences and ideas."
