Sam Rose:

"I've been working on local and regional supply chains for food for over a year now (in addition to several years worth of work on itin the past).

I am now starting to think about the idea of "Community Supported Supply Chains" where many people own shares in establishing supply chains on their behalf. You would pay a fixed price for essential goods, and a premium for specialized products. You would be a co-owner owner of the supply chain, and it would be governed via an online virtual process. It probably would not use existing monopoly services like amazon, etc for sales, distribution, etc" (Facebook, April 2020)
