= concept and practice suggested by Trebor Scholz, in the article: "Platform Cooperativism vs. the Sharing Economy" [1]

Description

Excerpted :

" Worker–owned cooperatives could design their own apps-based platforms, fostering truly peer-to-peer ways of providing services and things "

Examples

... of ongoing projects:

( Dante-Gabryell Monson ) suggesting the spirit of Platform Cooperativism being empowered by Open Linked Data approaches :

- Loomio http://loomio.org/ ( including Open API approach : https://www.loomio.org/g/exAKrBUp/openapp )

- Assemblée Virtuelle , Rhizi , Open Value Network / Mikorizal Software , Netention , Metamaps Gen3 , ...

Discussion

Dante-Gabryell Monson ( from comments shared on fb ) :

What leads people to generating engagements amongst each other ? How does distance , infrastructure , and resources influence this ? How can access to communication enable solutions ? ... What is the impact on social contracts ? How can technology, such as for example #LinkedData #OpenData support dynamic approaches ?

Directed Graphs / using Linked Data , to facilitate Resource Allocation ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resource_allocation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Information_systems http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_Intelligence_2.0 enabling increased Situational Awareness , midst others http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Situation_awareness

For example, NRP's http://valuenetwork.referata.com/wiki/NRP_for_value_networks Slides : https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1ztnDX-Cf-PmQPUNxAfntNBBpLH9mhsQ2lrJ77Ty8Plw/edit#slide=id.p to build on an open value network approach.

I imagine the potential to transform it into schema ontologies, and then use it within a wider Linked Open Data approach http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linked_data http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_data

As I see money ( technically speaking, what we call money today, is at 97 percent private commercial bank credit, created ex nihilo through a debt contract / a loan ) as metadata generated out of a contract, I see potential in enabling a digraphed approach to blend a variety of metadata, and directly have an understanding of their incidence on economic networks, their externalities, their effects on us. I also imagine this making it easier to generate our own metadata http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metadata including the ones generated out of Smart Contracts http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smart_contract

There are projects such as Codius http://codius.org/ And the potential to integrate an understanding of Crypto Equity http://cointelegraph.com/news/112077/the-new-frontier-after-cryptocurrency-cryptoequity based on the blockchain technology ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin#The_block_chain_ledger ) , itself also used for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin.

More simply speaking, people could use such approaches, simply by contextualizing their needs and offers, their suggestions and intentions.

I imagine an emergent approach to governance and finance, which could enable a transfer of resources into communal shareholding relational dynamics ( see : Relational_Model_Typology_-_Fiske ), in support of the Commons ,

reversing the "consciousness" of the current system of credit based money, which currently promotes hoarding , artificial scarcity, and infinite accumulation of property.

An old brainstorming http://cashwiki.org/en/Debt_to_Intention

More generally, as these tools are still in development ( various softwares , many open source : rhizi, metamaps, netention, nrp, ... ) and openapp api's to facilitate cross platform usage of linked data

Here is another text from another friend I brainstormed with in the last years, and who translated it with other words, describing more or less a similar intention :
