Definition
"Peer tutoring generally involves a dyad in which the tutor and tutee are of approximately the same age. Cross-age tutoring involves a tutor who is older than the tutee. However, the term peer tutoring is sometimes used to describe both types of tutoring." (Gaustad 1993, http://eric.uoregon.edu/publications/digests/digest079.html)
