"MeentCoop is a platform and starting coalition of social partners: Waag Futurelab, Commons Network, De Kaskantine, Stichting SW-SL, Ru Paré, HvA Center for Economic Transformation, Oranje Energie, 02025 and StadmakersCooperatie. The incubator will help citizens, entrepreneurs and governments to move together toward an economy that is locally rooted, democratic in practice and that serves the community. We share knowledge, money and network and offer sustainable support.

The incubator works with initiatives:

• that create value for the local community and for the community in their organizational model and in their business model.

• that want to make their business model social and regenerative, instead of purely profit-driven and extractive.

• that want to democratize their organizational model, in ownership and/or in governance.

The incubator will also be a Public-Civic Partnership: communities and social organizations take the lead, but the government also has a role."

Incubator voor de gemeenschaps­economie!

"MeentCoop is een platform en startcoalitie van maatschappelijke partners: Waag Futurelab, Commons Network, De Kaskantine, Stichting SW-SL, Ru Paré, HvA Center for Economic Transformation, Oranje Energie, 02025 en StadmakersCooperatie. De incubator zal burgers, ondernemers en overheden helpen om samen toe te bewegen naar een economie die lokaal geworteld is, democratisch is in praktijk en die de gemeenschap dient. We delen kennis, geld en netwerk en bieden duurzame ondersteuning. De incubator werkt met initiatieven - die in hun organisatiemodel en in hun businessmodel waarde voor het lokale en voor de gemeenschap creëren. - die hun businessmodel sociaal en regeneratief willen maken, in plaats van puur winst gedreven en extractief. - die hun organisatiemodel willen democratiseren, in eigendom en/of in governance.
