Bio

1.

" Felix has been at the forefront of this transformative space, contributing not only as a scholar but also as a builder. He founded and led the Crypto Commons Association and commons hub, which have been instrumental in fostering collaboration and innovation within the movement, and organized numerous events such as the Crypto Commons Gatherings 2021 – 2024. Over time, his engagement has brought together numerous visionaries, activists, and technologists to co-create and expand the crypto commons."

2.

"Heeding crypto’s call in early 2017, Felix Fritsch has since attempted to apply the experience gathered in various social movements and community centres to the digital realm. In the course of writing his PhD thesis on the political economy of Crypto Commons, he co-founded the Crypto Commons Association (CCA) in early 2021 as a way to more directly contribute to the development of protocols for organising around the common good. The CCA’s 2022 launch of the Commons Hub in the Austrian Alps as a physical harbour and experimental playground for the emerging community of Regens in Web3 has sparked his interest in a wider array of technologies that support a comprehensive transformation of how we organise, produce and live together."
