Cyclicity Index
= also called "the Planetary Concentration Index".
Description
< " Civilizational crises are not the end of the world, but the signal of a shift in rhythm. " >
The Grand Metronome:
"French astrologer André Barbault (1921–2019) sought to rationalize world astrology by introducing a quantitative measure of historical time: the Planetary Concentration Index (or Cyclicity Index).
The Principle: Barbault calculated the sum of angular distances between the 5 outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto)."

Typology
Phases of Contraction and Expansion
"Low Index (Concentrated Planets): The planets gather in a small section of the zodiac. Historically, this corresponds to periods of extreme tension, major crises, world wars, or sudden geopolitical restructuring (e.g., 1914–1918, 1982–1983, or 2020).
High Index (Dispersed Planets): The planets spread out. This marks times of détente, economic expansion, cultural rebirth, and international cooperation.
Using this curve, Barbault notably modeled as early as the 1950s the major historical turning point of 1989–1990 tied to the fall of the Soviet bloc."
