"Continua Health Alliance is a non-profit, open industry organization of healthcare and technology companies joining together in collaboration to improve the quality of personal healthcare. With more than 230 member companies around the world, Continua is dedicated to establishing a system of interoperable personal connected health solutions .... This is not a standards body. The Alliance has selected version one connectivity standards and is working to identify and resolve gaps in some standards bodies so that personal telehealth solutions are interoperable and contribute toward improved health management. Additionally, the Alliance is writing guidelines on specifically how to use the standards to achieve true interoperability across many companies and many devices."
