Michel your old P2P Encyclopedia is still here :

P2P Encyclopedia

You can delete if you don't need it anymore.

A+ Brice

REPLY TO BRICE:

Brice, I do not need that old version, I will delete it.

Michel, not sure why you deleted my content at Help:Contents. What I am trying to tell a fellow traveler to this wiki, is that they need not worry about duplicating work, that will be sorted out, please get to work and add content! As it stands, I feel someone might not want to traverse through here and figure out what has been done before they do anything. I think they would just leave, more than likely. Best, MarkDilley

REPLY TO MARK:

Mark, I only deleted one allpages alternative that lead to nowhere, I thought it was a mistake? One alternative gives a list, the other just an empty page.

Hi Michel, one of them did have 3 categories of pages, the were named, FooA to FooB, FooC to FooG, FooH to FooZ. No big deal though! ;-) also, I see all of your edits through RecentChanges and more granularly via the history. Best, MarkDilley

Interwikis

JA: Hi, Michel. Great resource! I wonder if you might create an interwiki for MyWikiBiz as I will probably be referring to a lot of articles there? TIA, JonAwbrey 12:38, 13 January 2008 (PST)

MB: Not sure what you mean, I guess it's a functionality that allow cross-referencing? I would favour that, but please discuss with lifesized@gmail.com who takes care of our wiki server.

One remark though, about your contribution in Inquiry. It is generally much more abstract and high learning than the average material in our wiki, I would appreciate if you would have it preceded with some executive summary paragraph, that sets the more complicated material into context.

Also, we do not use categories as folksonomies in our wiki, but as a very limited taxonomical subject tree, which appears in the middle column of our main page. Your material would be appearing in. As we have already 5,000 pages under that system, I would really prefer sticking to it. Of course, if you refer to tags in your own wiki, that's fine, but then indicate that to our readers.

Capitals, and non-yet-existing pages

Check Special:Wantedpages. I'll go through the list and create redirects and stubs where needed. I started adding links to pages in the Special:Deadendpages list and it would also be good to add links to Special:Lonelypages. By the way, I just started a stub for P2P_Foundation:Copyrights, by copying one line. It needs some more work I think. Guaka 06:03, 12 July 2008 (PDT)

Redirects

Hi! With #redirect [[Other page]] you can redirect pages. Many redirects can be useful since it makes it easier to add new links (you don't have to check or think first), you can just make the link and if you see it's red and know there's an existing article you turn it into a proper redirect. Mostly useful for singular/plural stuff, such as Spimes/Spime. :) Guaka 06:30, 12 July 2008 (PDT)
