Open Source CRM
Introduction
CRM can stand for Customer Relationship Management or Constituent Relationship Management, depending on whether the group developing the software is optimizing for the needs of commercial organisations marketing goods and services to customers, or the needs of not-for-profit groups interacting with members and supporters. CRM packages aimed at not-for-profits are sometimes also known as AMS (Association Management Systems). Software packages that provide CRM functions sometimes integrate others sets of functions including website CMS (Content Management System).

A number of open source communities have formed to address the challenges of providing a user-friendly, free code platform that allows organisations like the Greens to access a similar digital organising toolkit, without selling your soul to Silicon Valley capitalists. I encourage you to look into the work of:
Drutopia: https://drutopia.org/ (based on Drupal CMS, GPLv2 or later)
CommunityBuilder: https://www.joomlapolis.com/community-builder (based on Joomla CMS, GNU GPLv2)
BackDrop (GPLv2 or later): https://backdropcms.org/ (Drupal CMS fork)
There is also Mautic (GNU GPLv3), a free code package developed by a for-profit company, which aims to provide a digital marketing toolkit similar to the features of the proprietary MailChimp: https://www.mautic.org/
Other free code CRM packages that might offer more features than CiviCRM:
