StreetScooter

StreetScooter is an open-source electric car. The price tag is only $7,000, the top speed is 74mph and the range is 80 miles, all very good specifications for electric cars.

It was designed by a collaboration of over fifty different companies that specialise in designing different parts. This created a modular design that can be customized according to a customer's personal needs. It will be launched on the German market in 2013.
