Details
It was founded in 2003 by members of the free software movement in Argentina. Its aims are to promote technological advantages, social, ethical and political free software and free culture, 2 creating an organic space of representation and coordination of individuals, communities and projects. Its main activities are related to the dissemination of Free Software in the area of the state, social organizations and marginalized social sectors.Solar actively collaborates with national and state institutions INADI (National Institute against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism), 3 the INTI (National Institute of Industrial Technology), 4 the ASLE (Scope of Free Software in the State), 5 universidades9 municipalidades6 July 8 and 10 of Argentina.
