Bio

"Tom is leading thinking about the commons and peer-to-peer (P2P) alternatives at the Centre for Welfare Reform. The Centre for Welfare Reform is a citizen thinktank in the UK; a commons-orientated organisation in so far as it is not funded or resourced by big business or government, but through donations and voluntary effort, and sharing information and ideas for free.

Tom's background is working in Social Care in the South West of England working with people with intellectual disabilities, their families and carers. With knowledge of the public, private and 'third' sectors, Tom is exploring the Commons paradigm in relation to how we live, care and work; creating the organisational and cultural conditions where diverse people at all levels can work together towards Commons Transition.

Tom’s blogs, essays or articles have been published by the Centre, Bristol Leadership and Change Centre, Resilience, and, with Denis Postle, the psyCommons: an addition to the commons of air, seas, seeds, forests and rivers."
