Description

Michael Haupt:

"Regenerative Participation Income (RPI) is an income mechanism denominated in bioregionally issued demurrage currency, earned through verified regenerative activities, and funded through structural transvestment pathways (your term Michel) that convert extractive financial capital into regenerative commons wealth. RPI is distinct from Universal Basic Income (UBI) in three structural respects:

1. It is earned rather than granted,

2. It circulates in a currency that cannot be hoarded, and

3. It is issued by a commons-governed bioregional entity that does not belong to any of the four coordination forms that have historically controlled monetary issuance. It is not created by a kinship community (Tribes), not minted by a state (Institutions), not lent into existence by a private bank (Markets), and not generated by a platform or network protocol serving any of the preceding three. It is issued by a Bioregional Financing Facility (BFF) (Samantha Power) governed under commons-trust principles, representing the first monetary form whose issuing authority operates within the +N coordination domain that David's framework identifies as the emergent fourth form of human social organization. A currency issued by Commons-governed bodies satisfies the structural requirements that currencies issued by TIMN entities have systematically violated."
