From the legal documentation:

"In the Province of Buenos Aires, which will have its registered office, is formed an non profit Association called: NETWORKS OF PEERS (REDES DE PARES), which aims: to promote and strengthen communities of people who are organized on a self, horizontal and under the logics of popular and distributed power, provided that such communities have as their objectives the improvement in their lifestyles, in its forms of relationship and communication technology in development and production, and in all cases have as higher end defense and Community building their commons.

Additionally, the organization will promote opportunities for cooperation with other groups and organizations to share their social mission, nationally and internationally, while fostering a climate of cordiality and solidarity among its members and will strive for the social, intellectual and their cultural. To carry out this purpose, the Association may engage in study, research, development, promotion and dissemination of community practices that take place outside the general logic of the market and the state. The proposed activities will materialize in the development of specific projects, gathering the features set out above, the momentum and allow the emergence of new communities of peers in a diverse range of areas and disciplines including, but not limited to: education, communication, alternative economies, resource governance, housing, feeding and production of tangible and intangible assets."
