We encourage industry and service sector standardization, and classification of job descriptions, and working conditions across a broad range of internet employment situations.

Description

   * The iWorkers Union is fully web site based, here at iworkersunion.org.
   * The iWorkers Union International was chartered in 2008.
   * There is no large physical office, or headquarters, at this time.
   * This is a non-profit organization, funded only through modest registration fees, dues, and donations by members, and concerned groups around the world.
   * This union is not associated with any other entity, and exists for purposes of, and by the grace of, its membership Manifesto and Charter only.
   * The Preamble, Manifesto, and Charter are posted on this web site.
   * The organization structure is detailed in the iWorkers Union Operating Manual, currently in production.
   * The Executive members are from around the world, and are elected.
   * The current president-elect of the iWorkers Union is Allan William Clark 1.0, of Victoria, B.C., Canada.
   * The schedule for the first iWorkers Union on-line elections is as follows:
   * Regional delegates - September 2011.
   * Elections for international directors - December 2011.
