"The Forest Policy and Innovation Database of the European Forest Institute Central-East European Regional Office (EFICEEC) actively collect international, EU and national policies as well as interesting cases of innovations that affect the forest-based sector in Europe.

The current site is separated into two separate and searchable databases, one tracking the latest information on forest policy (as developed for EFORWOOD and ARANGE) and one on innovative cases of non-wood forest products (as developed for STARTREE) and on innovative forest management and conservation strategies (as developed for BeFoFu). The two databases cover all sectors (e.g. biodiversity, trade, forest, climate and environment, etc) that are of key relevance to the sustainability performance of the European forest-based sector.

The benefit of the forest policy database is that it, for the first time, provides access to all policies relevant for the European forest-based sector in one location. In addition, the innovation database provides access to a wealth of information on interesting innovation cases relevant to forests and the forest-based sector.
