"The goal is to provide a mechanism for regions (and the organizations that operate within them) to transform to accounting for their impacts within the ecological means of the region in ways that build up the necessary social means of its inhabitants.

  • the First Tier is Incrementalist Indicators,
  • the Second Tier is Thresholds-Based Indicators, and
  • the Third Tier is Transformational Indicators."


Status

Participation of the Reporting 3.0 Platform project, by Bill Baue:

"Building on the work of the r3.0 Accounting Blueprint & Data Blueprint, the projects looks at how to measure and manage a bioregions impacts within the thermodynamics and ethics of the region’s biocapacity, expressed within the Doughnut Economics framework of “ecological ceilings (e.g Planetary Boundaries) and “social foundations.” It draws on the work of the Global​ ​Thresholds​ ​and​ ​Allocations​ ​Council that r3.0 is incubating."
