These programs t could have important implications for new types of governance. The more notable experiments include Loomio, [1] Democracy OS [2] and Liquid Feedback. [3]

The point of such systems is to enable direct, sustained and somewhat complicated discussions that can then clarify group sentiment and foster commitments that participants see as legitimate and meaningful."
