Bio

"Tristan is an award winning British documentary filmmaker who has been living and working in the collaborative economy for the past five years.

Straight out of film school, Tristan began his career as WikiLeaks’ in-house video director during the 2010-11 Iraq War Logs and Cablegate controversies. He then travelled to the USA to direct communications and video production for radical innovators at Open Source Ecology.

Since this time, Tristan has co-founded two award winning social enterprises, AKER and Open Source Beehives, while continuing work as an independent filmmaker. During this time, he has launched two crowdfunding campaigns, raising close to $100K.

Inspired by the new collaborative era, Tristan is on a mission to help others understand its potential to change society and the world." (http://www.openpixel.cc/about-me-shift/#bio)
