"I currently work at Michigan State University on Photosynq (www.photosynq.org). We're creating an open source, handheld device for measuring photosynthesis in plants and algae. I used to develop process technologies in biodiesel, and spent a while in the small scale biodiesel 'homebrew' movement, which is were I became passionate about open technology and collaborative discovery. Before that I was in the Peace Corps in Moldova."
