Bio

I grew up in the UK, studying philosophy then anthropology at the London School of Economics. I have taught anthropology and international political economy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong since 2004. My main area of research is social behaviour, kinship and cooperation. I have published a non-reductive theoretical synthesis between evolutionary biology, attachment theory (psychology) and cultural anthropology: 'Social Bonding and Nurture Kinship: Compatibility between Cultural and Biological approaches'
