Description

"Drawing from a variety of autonomist political traditions, Common Notions is a publishing and programming project that aims to aid in our collective reading of contemporary social struggles as they formulate new directions for living autonomy in our everyday.

In NYC, we work closely with Bluestockings Bookstore and 16 Beaver, as well as nationally with publishers such as PM Press, AK Press, Autonomedia, and artist cooperative Justseeds.

As a publisher, we seek to translate, produce and circulate the tools of knowledge-production utilized in movement-building practices in an effort to generalize common notions about the creation of other worlds beyond capitalism." (http://commonnotions.org/about-2/)
