"We post a new open source hardware project every month. Our goal is to arrange group purchases of assembled hardware through Seeed Studio. Projects usually cost $10-$40, including worldwide shipping. There’s a preorder process overview and FAQ here.

Ian Lesnet first experimented with organized hardware preorders while writing for Hack a Day, during the Bus Pirate fund raiser. Mahalo, the company that owns Hack a Day, doesn’t allow authors to profit from sales to avoid conflicts of interest. Ian started this site to so he could sell his future open source projects."
