This is not so much a vision statement as a halting attempt to articulate a half-conscious project that's apparently been brewing in the back of my mind over the last decade — more informally and organically than my frontal lobes know how to do — as I watched a long train of noble experiments in online resource development fall into despair and disrepair. Observations

Despite the flush of brave words we keep hearing about complex hyper-linkages among distributed sources and openly evolving resources, a predominance of sites and their denizens are becoming increasingly parochial and isolationist in their interactions with the rest of the Web and the World.
