"The Productive Cities Network expands the potential of distributed production and the maker movement using open source online platforms, to share and co-create new forms of local production and supply chains, and to develop a new model for more sustainable, circular and resilient cities. Relocalisation of production in cities will allow to develop circular practices at different scales, by leveraging the potential of bottom-up digital social innovation ecosystems and large scale infrastructure for local manufacturing and material processing."
