"Wilbanks was named one of “50 visionaries who are changing your world” by the Utne Reader, and a “Revolutionary Mind of 2008” by Seed Magazine. He writes the Common Knowledge blog on Science Blogs, and is known simply as Wilbanks on Twitter. As VP for Science at Creative Commons, he runs Science Commons from an office at MIT. Wilbanks joined Creative Commons from a Fellowship at the World Wide Web Consortium in Semantic Web for Life Sciences.
