- OSM Scout Server, license: GNU GPLv3, developed for use with Sailfish OS, a local map server allowing ordinary map apps to be used offline, works with: Pure Maps, WhoGo Maps, Poor Maps, modRana
- QMapShack (active fork of QLandkarte), versions available for MacOS and Windows, license: GNU GPLv3
Note: this is a WIP, gathering a list of suggested apps for evaluation, will eventually be turned into a table like the Free Code Chat Apps page.
