My goal in creating this page was to show that a feature-complete alternative to GitHub was not only available hosted by the company that develops it, but widely deployed by peer production communities working on free code software. Name and scope of page
My goal in creating this page was to show that a feature-complete alternative to GitHub was not only available hosted by the company that develops it, but widely deployed by peer production communities working on free code software. I realize now that the name I gave the page limits it to being promotion for one company/ software, when it could also have lists of projects using other free code Git-hosting packages like Gogs or Gitea. Would it be possible to rename the page to something like "List of community-run code forges"? --Strypey (talk) 03:11, 5 June 2018 (UTC)
