Michel Bauwens:
The concept refers to forms of asset ownership and property, in which individuals and communities can own 'each others' assets, at a micro-level, i.e. through tokens or similar forms of property denominators. It aims to:
- enhance the possibility for bioregional and cosmo-local actors to invest in their commons 'trans-local' infrastructure
- enhance the capacity to accept non-extractive invesment pools by non-local actors.
I see fractional ownership through tokens as the mechanism.
