Ann Marie Utratel is a co-founder of [[Guerrilla Translation]] [http://www.guerrillatranslation.org/], a P2P translation collective and cooperative founded in Spain in 2013. Guerrilla Translation’s core mission and values are oriented and inspired by the ideal of a commons-based equitable society, and GT sees itself as a group of communication facilitators toward that end. GT has built its own innovative cooperative business model to support its unique vision of a self-sustaining system of pro-bono and paid work within the collective, prototyping ideas from contemporary writing on the new economy and its power to change. In 2014, GT was voted one of five OuiShare award winners, recognized as “exceptional collaborative economy initiatives from across the globe”, and participated in its weeklong acceleration program in Paris, France.
A native New Yorker now living in Spain, Ann Marie Utratel forms part of the international core team in the Advocacy stream of the P2P Foundation, working on communications, organizational strategy and infrastructure. She has also contributed to projects such as [http://commonstransition.org/ Commons Transition], [http://p2pvalue.eu/ P2Pvalue] and many others. She writes [http://commonstransition.org/category/authors/ann-marie-utratel/ original articles], edits, curates for the P2P Foundation blog and Commons Transition (including assistance with the ongoing [http://commonstransition.org/category/articles-and-resources/100-women-of-p2p/ 100 Women Co-creating the P2P Society] project), and helps connect an ever-widening network of people involved in the P2P/Commons movement.
 
Ann Marie is also a project development coordinator for the P2P Foundation, contributing to projects such as the [http://commonstransition.org/ Commons Transition platform], [http://commonstransition.org/?page_id=14633 e-book] and [http://wiki.commonstransition.org/wiki/Main_Page wiki], and the ongoing development of the Open Cooperativism and Commons-Based Reciprocity License (CopyFair) projects, among other activities. As of February 2015, she has joined [[Platoniq]] and [[Goteo | Goteo.org]] as an international coordinator.
A native New Yorker now living in Madrid, Spain, Ann Marie enjoys all the usual pleasures of life, and more when practical.
