Vasilis Kostakis (PhD, MSc, MA) is a political economist and founder of the P2P Lab. Currently he is serving as a research fellow at Tallinn University of Technology and P2P Foundation. Moreover, he works as a business consultant, author and musician.

His ongoing research focuses on the conjunction of Commons-based peer production with desktop manufacturing and its impact on economy, culture, and education.
