Now finished the initial job of reformatting this excellent piece of work,
hoping this will attract a wider audience.


 
Still worth doing:
I've now started with the July 2005 version and put 4 chapters up, ready to look at.
* more links from here to other pages in the wiki
The rest shouldn't take that much time, as I've done most of the work already.
* more relevant categories
What I am doing is reading the whole thing through as I go, and if I notice any typos, correcting them on the spot.
* perhaps put id="" into section headings, for ease of reference.
 
For a first pretty random example of using id= as anchor, see [[P2P and Human Evolution Ch 4#1.D]]
I notice there were a few additions on the wiki version.
Suggested standards:
When I have finished the base version, my intentions are now
* do not use chapter number (that's in the page name)
# to integrate the added material into the new format version
* put in all the other section numbers / letters as used, but not the leading or trailing "."
# to transfer any appropriate talk page contents
* so, for the example above
 
** in the page itself, put a <span> around the 4.1.D. in the title, as <span id="1.D">4.1.D.</span>
I have really enjoyed reading this through so far, and I would thoroughly recommend reading this as really helpful for anyone wanting to contribute to this wiki, or indeed joining the P2P/Commons movement!
