Tapan Bhargave is a polymath who is the Founder and current CEO of EarthBenign, an innovative software company that is designing unique derivatives-backed monetary systems for the New Economy.

Tapan's academic background is as an Electrical Engineer; he holds a degree in that discipline from Cornell University. His early career was spent in microchip design engineering positions at IBM while the middle part of his career was spent in real estate entrepreneurial ventures. Since 2008, Tapan has shifted his career back to technology, having first served as a systems process engineer at SourcePulse and then, in 2012, his current engagement as Founder and CEO of EarthBenign.

A multi-talented entrepreneur, Tapan has succesfully launched EarthBenign from the ground up. Under Tapan's leadership, EarthBenign is deploying a unique, decentralized governance structure, designing an innovative monetary system, and engaging with Impact stakeholders in Austin and elsewhere. With Tapan as CEO, the innovative New Economy startup is poised for outsized returns across all three components of triple bottom line: impact on people, impact on profit, and impact on business prosperity.
