I'm a fourth grade teacher in Minneapolis, have worked in a machine shop and have worked as an ESL teacher in China for five years. I am interested in economic and social history, as well as in post-classical Chinese philosophy and the intellectual history of Russia from the 19th century on. I also have deep loves of Soviet and Chinese film, Japanese animation and American Indian (particularly Hopi, Dine, Pacific Northwest and Alaska Native) visual arts.
