Raoul Victor is a French Marxist author who writes about free software, market relations and the possibility of radical social change. He was born in Venezuela. He has been living in France since 1966. From 1968 to 1996 he was a member of an internationalist Marxist organisation for which the so called "communist" countries were state-capitalists regimes and the "western" democracies only efficient mechanisms of capitalist governance. From 2003 to 2013 he participated to the Oekonux project.
