I am Leonard Onwe (52), a professional Accountant and Associate professor of Accounting. I have lectured and consulted for private and public Universities in Nigeria for over 15 years. I am the Founder/ chairman of Urban University College Limited based in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state, Nigeria, West Africa. The company was incorporated in 2008, as a private limited liability company.. I have the controlling shareholding of 90%. The company is the promoters of the Urban University Project. In accordance with the Nigerian (National University Commission) NUC, Act, 2004, only corporate bodies can own private Universities in Nigeria.
