I am Howard Arthur Kalish, and I was born on January 29th, 1958 in New York City, New York, United States of America.  I am proud to be an authentic genuine "native New Yorker" and a "river rat", having been born and raised in the northernmost Manhattan neighborhoods of Washington Heights and Inwood, on the eastern banks of the majestic Hudson River, one of this country's great waterways.  I have a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) from the Board of Regents of the State University of New York, issued to me in December 1975.  I have been a Consumer of Long Term Care (LTC) Services from about July 2007 through the present.  I am interested in the issues of Culture Change in LTC, Consumer Directed LTC, Gerontechnology, and LTC Sector Business Intelligence. I want to leverage the enormous power of technology, in particular, the Internet.  I desire to be an articulate, intelligent, respected and trusted source of information on my signature issues.  We are the Long Term Care Consumer Intelligence Agency, a NP and NGO, at the service of the public interest, with global headquarters in New York City, New York, USA.
