I am interested in creating a "noninvestment" housing option in California. Community Land Trusts appear to be a step in the right direction, which led me to P2P Foundation. I am very new to this field and am looking for "places" to learn, communities to be a part of and like-minded individuals with whom to share ideas and passion.

My education and professional experience are far removed from this field of community land trusts, co-housing and the like. I come from a desire to change what I have seen and experienced as the cruelty that we, as a society, inflict on our members because they do not command the financial resources to live with dignity, safety and beauty.

My desire for changing how and where we live and afford to live is one major part of my vision for creating communities that are based on participatory democracy principles, are economically and ecologically sustainable and promote and develop the human potential of their participants.
