My educational background is in Urban & Regional Planning, graduated with Master Degree from Florida State University at Tallahassee, USA. and currently pursuing PhD at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). Have been working with many private sectors in Malaysia for the last 18 years and involved in many big projects such as the North-South Expressway, Iskandar Region (one of the pioneers in township development of 10,000 ha), LRT, KL-Central, and other projects. In 2009, joined UUM as academic staff. Research interest is in alternative forms of urban/city development such as cooperative township approach as a way to ensure the efficacy of quality urban/rural living.
