I'm a Portuguese born, American, Canadian currently living in California, Silicon Valley to be exact. I could not be more out of my element. Everything here feels fake, Trump talks about "fake news", I think America is suffering from Face Lives syndrome. Everyone is trying to create the next great startup. Yet, few if any, understand what it means to create something for the sake of humanity rather than creating something for the fake lives they have learned to live.

I'm seeking people that understand that what really matters is cooperation, collaboration, and shared goals. Doing a startup is not about building a new disruptive solution, it's about building a new way to find the right solutions which evolve to meet the needs of people.
