Talk:P2P Foundation Channels

Thanks Alex, for working this out. This was indeed one of my main wishes for a 'next step'. However, I saw it rather for subject domains, which have already target audiences, rather than for the 3 channels you choose, because these are still very minoritarian concerns.

however, we can use this as test trials, and implement the topical domains later,

an important point, but i'm sure that's not a problem and that you've taken this into account, is that there will usually be more than one delicious tag for a given domain topic,

an important point for me is that this does not replace the existing wiki, but creates an added layer of access to it

You can clarify subject domains at your leisure, as I just outlined in the document. The historical taxonomy is not actually documented anywhere which makes for a lot of work for someone like me trying to do automation with it. For example, what is P2P Infrastructure? Why is governance not a subject domain? What is a subject domain? Did you approve the re-categorization that I published before? I heard nothing from you on that. See Category:P2P Foundation Knowledge Commons for what I'm talking about. Your definitions are helpful information for your chief information architect, me. Might help you feel like you were part of the process, too, to contribute something useful besides critique and indictments of non-conformity to your unpublished standards. --Alex Rollin 14:22, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
