Talk:Introduction to the P2P Foundation Wiki Material about the Commons

Hi Michel

We have here Category:Commons, but there is also the page Commons. I'm a little confused. What do you think is the best arrangement for this, centrally important, material?

I'm not sure what the confusion is about as we spoke at length about this central distinction in the beginnon. Pages are for profound explorations of a topic. Categories are directories of all materials related to a domain, contextualized in the section page. They should both exist. There's a page on France, and there's a category for all french p2p projects. I don't see any confusion ?

Exactly, I agree, and that is why I am confused. Here in this category page there is much material that I would have expected on the Commons page. Alongside the very helpful sub-categorisation of pages in this category, several sections do not refer to actual pages on this wiki at all, but appear to belong to the exploration of the topic itself. For me, it would greatly help transparency and understanding if the exploratory material were integrated into the Commons page, leaving this category page playing its rightful role in picking out the key resources from the pages in this category.
