● Knowledge & Ontologies

Content is organized through their website, and a local node toolkit. Knowledge includes:

● Step-by-step guides such as “How to Start a Node”

● Podcasts and blog posts, which often promote community stories (e.g., Combating Plastic Waste In Nigeria with Web3)

● Directory of local nodes

● Directory of the ReFi ecosystem, including people, organizations, jobs and events

A protocol for impact measurement is currently in development, intended to provide shared standards for documenting project outcomes.

● Interaction Design

Knowledge is distributed across web content, podcasts, and databases.

Node organizers share learnings formally through impact documentation using web3 tools, and informally via activities such as:

● A local node incubator program, ofering peer support and onboarding

● Regular community calls and working groups

● Plans for more community touchpoints

● Technical Architecture

The core infrastructure uses Notion, as well as a web interface for their site. The current system is semi-structured, leaning on familiar tools but evolving toward more integrated technical coordination.

Future architecture includes an impact data commons with pipelines for aggregating metrics across tools. Planned integration with Open Civics for shared data infrastructure.

● Governance & Sustainability

Much of the content creation and coordination is volunteer-driven, though the DAO is actively seeking funding for scaling systems and infrastructure.

Plans include:

● Cooperative investor models

● Consulting revenue streams

● Expanded DAO-based governance for local nodes

Currently, the ReFi DAO team serves as the primary steward, with a focus on enabling node autonomy and shared experimentation."
