"Paisaje Transversal is an OFFICE that fosters, coordinates, designs and guides innovative urban transformation and analysis processes on the basis of participation, ecology and creativity, always in line with local reality.
Paisaje Transversal has also been operating since 2007 as a PLATFORM for city and land reflection and research. This platform acts as a theoretical support for the office, and its more visible face is the blogwww.paisajetransversal.org. which has been one of the world's most influent architecture blogs in Spanish for over 4 years.
Our work is based on the following four Principles:
- Transdisciplinarity: We provide comprehensive solutions because we have a knowledge of, and a common approach to, the main elements that analyze the urban phenomenon: sociology, geography, landscaping, law, urbanism, ecology, economy…
- Citizen involvement:We give citizens a key role in the transformation of their environment in order to generate shared responsibility and transparency in all processes.
- Digital tools: ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies) and technology development give us inescapable advantages in the streamlining of citizen participation and the reduction of costs and times.
- Media ecology: We carry out our projects using tests and reversible interventions."
