Description
An Internetcu.be is a self-hosting server computer, which runs a GNU-Linux distribution called YUNOHost, a self-hosting specific variant of Debian. FDN Federation, a French not-for-profit ISP, distributes Internetcu.be boxes as part of its operations.
"Basically an Internet Cube is:
An FFDN Member's VPN connection that 'neutralized' the Internet access and always gives you the same static public ip (one per member) + YunoHost configured for that (just one app for vpn, one for hotspot) + wifi antenna + small cheap hardware (olimex). So you end up with a plug and play box (thanks to the VPN) that is both a small self-hosting server and a wifi-vpn hotspot", Laurent Peuch (user Bram on the Fediverse), who is involved with the project.
