"The goal of InterWiki technology is to make it as easy as possible to move from one wiki to another. We want seamless integration.

The following technological features are currently in use to support this:

• InterLink (URL abbreviations) – for the sites we often link to, URL abbreviations are defined on the InterMap

• SisterSites – when showing a page that also exists on Meatball, a logo at the bottom will let you know about it

• NearLink – links to pages which do not exist here but do exist on Meatball will link to the Meatball page, as defined on the NearMap

• NearSearch – searching wikis on the NearMap"
