But there are two limitations-- one is that the people who were not participants in the Deliberative Poll were not involved in the process and so feel a more limited buy-in to the decision. The diverse creative ideas harvested from orders of magnitude more people can also be extremely insightful and valuable. The Deliberative Poll can create a route to responsible advocacy across a much larger population, but it does not directly individually engage the external population beyond media coverage.
