Description
One of the largest consumer-to-consumer barter sites, for movies and music.
"Members identify the used item they want to sell and the number of "points" they want to receive for it. BarterBee creates a listing, using the item's bar code. When another member buys the item, she pays the site a $1 transaction fee; the seller pays the postage and ships the item, using an insured media mailer BarterBee provides. The seller can then use the points to purchase any items for sale on the site.
The typical customer lists four items for sale each month and ends up selling two to three and buying two to three."
